Educational Accents Prohibited and Restricted Items

As an Educational Accents user, you are ultimately responsible for making sure that the item you are buying or selling is legal to buy and sell in the eyes of the law. Prohibited and restricted items will be removed from Educational Accents (the Site) and the seller, at our discretion, may be suspended, banned, have listing canceled, limits on account privileges, account suspension, forfeit of Educational Accents fees on cancelled listings, or loss of seller status.

The following are items that may not be sold or trade on Educational Accents (the Site).

• Copies of copyrighted materials of any kind including but not limited to books, cassettes tapes, VHS, CD, DVDs, CD-Roms, workbooks, tests, and reproducibles workbooks or worksheets

• Downloaded materials from the internet

• E-books or copies of E-books

• Items not in your possession at the time of listing and while enter time the item is listed on Educational Accents.

• Pornographic materials or anything containing sexual content

• Materials or anything with inappropriate content for children including but not limited to materials containing foul language, violence, and adult subject matter

• Bootleg recordings: Unauthorized recordings of concerts, conferences, or workshops

• Catalogs from which persons can directly order are not permitted.

• Keyword spamming in listings is prohibited on Educational Accents. The searchable text in listings must be directly relevant to the item being sold. Keyword spamming occurs when publisher’s/author’s names or other inappropriate keywords are used in a title or description for the purpose of diverting buyers to a listing.

§ Listings not offering an item for sale are prohibited on Educational Accents including but not limited to; listings with the apparent, primary purpose of expressing the seller’s personal opinions, signposts – listings primarily meant to direct a user to a seller’s store or other listings, or want ads.

§ Items that promote or encourage violence, racial or religious intolerance, or materials that promote organizations with such views.

Educational Accents is a site for sellers and buyers of educational materials for preschool though high school. All inappropriate material will be removed and may, at our discretion, result in the suspension, or banning of the seller, having listing canceled, limits on seller’s account privileges, or account suspension, forfeit of Educational Accents fees on cancelled listings, or loss of seller status..
